Adrian graduated with a BA (Hons) in English & German from Oxford University, and is a bilingual German speaker. While at Oxford, he was President of the Magdalen Players, directing and acting in some 20 productions. In 2008, due to a growing interest in law, Adrian completed a Graduate Diploma in Law part-time at BPP Law School.
Career
Adrian has continued to act and direct alongside a successful career as an advertising copywriter, specialising in writing websites and online communications for a range of clients including Mercedes-Benz, Eurostar and Royal Mail.
Highlights of his acting and directing career include: twice directing Mitchell & Webb in Edinburgh (Latin! and Shopping & St***-Up), appearing with Kelly Brook in the award-winning short film In the Mood, playing the lead role in Dancing Bears (Time Out Critics’ Choice), and performing his own sitcom What an Anchor! live on ITV1’s The Sitcom Trials.
Since 2004, Adrian has combined his knowledge of business and drama as a corporate role-player and drama-based training facilitator. He regularly scripts and performs interactive diversity training programmes globally to major investment banks, delivers bilingual role-plays at assessment centres for leading law and accounting firms, and facilitates forum workshops for public sector employees at all levels.
Adrian is also an experienced teacher, having worked as an English Language Assistant at a German grammar school, an English lecturer for foreign business students, and a private tutor in both German and English for secondary school pupils.
